Home cleaning continues with Zone 2: Kitchen, dining area and family room. We already have had some of the biggest cleaning jobs behind us. Now it’s time to tackle the real high traffic spots of home cleaning: kitchen, casual dining area and the family room. Our cleaning experts take their responsibilities very seriously, that’s why they follow strict set of rules and instructions for efficient and safe home cleaning.
Kitchen
Step 1:
* Get downstairs cleaning caddy.
* Go into the kitchen and pull out a microwave-safe bowl.
* Pour in 2 cups of water, put the bowl of water in the microwave, and heat on high for 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 2: While the microwave is running our cleaning experts go around the kitchen and wipe all surfaces, left to right, top to bottom. Spray on a cleaner that safe for your hob (make sure it’s cool first), then also spray an appropriate kitchen cleaner onto the oven and refrigerator doors, and the worktops. The safest solution is sudsy water, made with warm water and washing-up liquid. Pour in into an empty plastic spray bottle. Continue cleaning.
Step 3: Take cleaning cloth and move from left to right around the kitchen, wiping down the work surfaces and appliances. While at the stove, wipe any food spills from the cooking rings. Move worktop appliances such as the toaster and kettle and wipe under them as you go. When you get to the microwave, make sure the water has cooled for at least a minute. Pour the water out and wipe down the steamed interior of the microwave.
Step 4: Clean kitchen cabinets with all-purpose spray and wipe down – if regular cleaning is down every month from our expert cleaners, they would have worked right round the room with no need to ever make cleaning cupboard doors a separate major cleaning job.
Step 5: Throw out old food in the refrigerator and pick one shelf or drawer to clean. Dry glass shelving carefully using fresh, lint freelinen tea-towel.
Step 6: At the sink, carefully wash it sudsy water. Stainless steel can scratch, avoid using anything abrasive. A light scouring cream like ‘Cif’ is suitable. Use a cloth and washing-up liquid. Then rinse very thoroughly.
Shiny tabs are one of the trademarks of HomeCleaning.org.uk’s professional cleaners. A microfibre cloth should be used to dry in order the sink to get a polished look.
Step 7: Mop the floor.
Casual dining room
Steps 1,2: Dust your way around the room, left to right, top to bottom. Dust the light fixture. Pull the chairs away from the table. Wipe up any spills or crumbs from the table and chairs. Mop and vacuum under the table and move the chairs back. Clean the rest of the room.
Family room
Step 1: Move any light furniture into the centre of the room. Move around the room dusting – from left to right, top to bottom, one section of wall at a time (very important). Dust the pelmets, window frames, pictures, furnitures and electronic devices.
Step 2: Vacuum the outside of the family room. Put furniture back in its original position. Vacuum the rest of the room.
Step 3: Remove dirty sheets, cloths and load them in the washing machine. Take washing out of the dryer and set them on the worktop.
Customer Notice: Our home cleaning experts never mix cleaning substances due to following high safety standards.
